Wedding Ceremony Music
Where you hold your wedding ceremony will have some impact on the music you have during your wedding service. If you are having a civil ceremony, religious songs and hymns will not be allowed and similarly a church wedding may not allow certain songs, depending on the minister.
Even with the restrictions, there is still a wide choice of musical options for your ceremony including:
- Choirs
- Strings from solo's to orchestras
- Pianists
- Harpists
- Church Organist
- Gospel Choir
Before you set your heart (and pay the deposit) on your ceremony music, it's advisable to check if the registrar or minister is happy with your choice, they can also advise of any foreseen problems (a full symphony orchestra won't fit in many venues!) and even offer suggestions you may not have yet considered.
