The Wedding took place at St. Saviour's Church at 12 noon with the ceremony being conducted by the Reverend A.C. Swindel.
A rehearsal had been held a couple of nights before the 'big day', during which he outlined all the major points as to 'who stands where' and 'what happens after what'.

He instructed the Ushers to make sure they were at the church at least 45 minutes before the ceremony and the Groom and Best Man 30 minutes before.
Georgia, who was the 'Flower Girl' and Reece who was the 'Pageboy' were also in attendance well before the Bride arrived.
Reverand Swindel did a great job at ensuring all the wedding participants felt at ease and comfortable.
Even when one of the small children began to talk loudly and run around during the 'Reading' he managed to get the congregation to laugh about it afterwards.

He had no problem with confetti being thrown outside the church, or to people taking photographs and video footage during the ceremony.
The St Saviour's Church Choir had been booked for the service and they did an excellent job at making up for the less enthusiastic singers in the congregation.
Jimmy McGovern, a Scottish Piper, had been booked to play outside the church after the ceremony, and with the extensive gardens that the Church enjoys there was ample space in which Joe Bates could take some great photographs.

Although when a passing pidgeon decided to drop a present on the Bride there were a few shrieks of horror, however a couple of 'wet wipes' soon sorted out the stain! And everyone agreed, it was a 'sign of good luck' !!
Parking was easy, with the Church and Parish Hall being next to each other.
The transport, which was supplied by Style Hire was punctual, experienced, and very accomodating.

Blue Coach supplied a coach which was to take those without transport to the Wedding Breakfast and they were also punctual. If it had been raining things may have turned out differently as nobody thought of bringing large umbrellas 'just in case'. But it didn't rain so everything went without a hitch - (planning obviously being the essential ingredient)
