The Evening Reception began at 8pm.
The DJ was provided by Spotlight Promotions and he had set up his equipment during the morning so there was no disruption while the room was being re-arranged after the Wedding Breakfast.
Jodie and Stevie had supplied a CD compilation of their favourite songs and the DJ probably played every track during the course of the evening. Earlier in the week Spotlight had been emailed as to suitable music for the evening and the DJ appeared to have most things covered.

The 'First Dance' was at 8.15pm and the song was "I Don't Want to Miss a thing" by Aerosmith.
With there being a large Scottish contingent in attendance as well as a few rock fans the music ranged from 'The Proclaimers' to 'Guns'n'Roses' and a good time was had by all. A cold buffet was served at 10pm (which soon disappeared) and a moderate amount of alcohol was consumed .... as is befitting such an occasion ! Around 11.30pm, one could spy the bridesmaids beginning to bite and inhale the helium balloons, so as people left the venue or went up to their rooms everyone would remember the sound of chipmunks singing in the warm night air....... what a day...
