A man is suing his ex-girlfriend for more than £16,000 for super-gluing his genitals to his stomach.

Kenneth Slaby broke up from Gail O'Toole in 1999 after dating for ten months. Slaby then began dating someone else.

In May 2000, O'Toole invited Slaby to her home where he fell asleep. When he woke up he found that O'Toole had used super-glue to stick his genitals to his abdomen, glued his buttocks together and spelled out a profanity on his back in nail polish.

She told him it was 'payback time' for their breakup.

He had to walk a mile to a petrol station to get help. Slaby was not permanently damaged !

Princess Maria del Pozzo della Cisterno was unlikely ever to forget the day of her wedding to Amadeo, the Duke D’Aosta, son of the King of Italy, in Turin in 1867. Her wardrobe mistress hung herself, the palace gatekeeper cut his throat, the colonel leading the wedding procession collapsed from sunstroke, the stationmaster was crushed to death under the wheels of the honeymoon train, the king’s aide was killed when falling from his horse, and the best man shot himself. A day to remember for sure!

A French bride was arrested at her wedding reception in 1995 for stabbing her new husband with the knife they had just used to cut the wedding cake.

July 1st 2005 - Japan

In the city of Hokkaido Japan, a couple has tied the knot with dolphins acting as the witnesses to the the wedding ceremony. Hiroshi Ogaki and Miwa Yoshida became the first couple ever to exchange vows at the Hakkedijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama. The couple wed in front of 13 dolphins who swam around and above them.

July 13th 2005 - Thailand

In Bangkok, Thailand, two rare dwarf Brahman Cows were wed in a traditional Thailand ceremony. The owner did not want to give up his precious cow until a perfect match was found and a dowry including truckloads of fresh grass, corn and $2,400 dollars was given to the owner. The two cows were wed on Sunday, with a 2,000 human procession and a banquet for over 2,000 people.

In 1976 Los Angeles secretary Jannene Swift officially married a 50lb rock. The ceremony was witnessed by more than 20 people.

A Japanese couple have got married while suspended by a wire seven metres above the ground.
Bridegroom Hirotomo Yoshikawa and bride Tomomi Sato have been the first to take up a Tokyo shopping centre's offer of free aerial weddings.
The couple exchanged rings as they "floated", using the same technique as is used in films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Their friends and relatives watched the wedding ceremony from a nearby staircase.
A spokesman for the shopping centre says those who wish to be married on the wire should not weigh more than nine stone two pounds.
