When Brad Pitt got engaged to Jennifer Aniston he had the ring specialy designed. The result was a white gold band with 18 carats of diamonds. He also designed another sparkler for Gwyneth Paltrow which had three small diamonds set into the band on the palm side, so every way you looked at it, it sparkled.
American Beauty star Mena Suvari chose to use her birthstones, amethysts and citrines set in an asymmetrical design around a gold band when she married cinematographer Robert Brinkmann.
