Wedding ring cushions (or ring bearer pillows as they are also known) are traditionally held by young children and carried up the aisle.
The rings secured on the cushion will normally not be the actual wedding rings but instead the process will be a symbolic one.
On the Continent however, it is more common to see the ring cushion being used as part of the actual ring exchanging ceremony. In the United Kingdom however, it is traditionally the best man who keeps the rings.
The use of a ring cushion during the exchange of the wedding rings has become increasingly popular.
