Musical recitals, poetry readings, dance performances, art exhibitions and many other fascinating events are held all year round, for young and old.

Fort Regent is often the venue for top-name bands, comedians and shows who visit the island during the summer months and there are frequent outdoor music events, festivals and concerts.

In addition to the 190 restaurants on the island, there are numerous nightclubs, pubs and winebars, some of which often play live music, and many hotels also provide facilities for dancing and stage their own cabarets, some with admission to the general public.
